A brief history

On the Top of its hill of 44 meters height, the Mill of Moidrey offers an exceptional panorama on the Bay of the Mont Saint Michel and on the Polders.
Built in 1806, the Mill was exploited until the beginning of the 20th century, then was used as a hayloft until the end of the second world war, before being abandoned…
Well restored in 2003, it produces flour like in the past, thanks to its wood mechanism and its stones.
Among the 5 windmills dating from the same time and still visible in the region, it is the only one to be in activity.

Reception and visit
Discover the ingeniousness of the windmill mechanism: unsuspected techniques carry you along the trip from the grain to the flour.
One 30 minutes duration guided tours.
